This grant project, a collaboration with the Gerber/Hart Library & Archives, aims to elevate the
library’s
online presence and user engagement by redesigning its website to better serve Chicago's LGBTQ+
community.
Through user research, UX design, and web development, our team of software engineer, UX
researchers, and designers is focused on creating a more accessible, engaging platform. Key objectives
include boosting website traffic, increasing donations, and enhancing the visibility of the library’s
resources.
By conducting user interviews, prototyping, and usability testing, we will deliver a
user-centered digital experience that aligns with Gerber/Hart’s mission to foster social change through
accessible LGBTQ+ history and culture.
